JASPERJASPER
Jasperjasper (she/her) is a french indie multi-hyphenate visual and sonic artist. Her mermaid music project, a blend of ambient experimental dreampop, builds narrative puzzles from vulnerable vocals and organic pianos, drifting from gloomy moods to siren songs carried away by swirling synths. Evanescence meets Oneohtrix Point Never, with songs that could be found on a soundtrack for The O.A, Twilight and Angel's Egg.
Jasperjasper worked on multiple film scores, including the fantastical teen movie "Moonchild" which earned best first film in The Pantin International Short Film Festival in 2019 and "Dream Machine", which premiered at the International Belfort Film Festival in 2023.

Obsessed with songwriting since childhood, she started the piano at 14 after 8 years of ballet, and began her singing training at the conservatory where she learned Bel Canto, a formative experience for her stage presence… although not as much as being the lead singer in her high school rock band.
Jasperjasper is no stranger to performing, as she’s built a career both behind and in front of the camera. Filmmaker and actress, she’s worked with directors like Virgil Vernier, Catherine Breillat or William Laboury. Her passion for movies is deeply intertwined with the musical love letters she’s been crafting on her laptop since 2010, creating cinematic and atmospheric pieces and her very own startling narratives.
Her EP "Afterneath" is an otherworldly 18 min tale of grieving, recalling a sense of faith and finding unity.
